heartburn

I feel like I have the worst heartburn ever. I almost always have it and it hurts so bad. I eat an average of 15-20 tums aday trying to get rid of it.

moving along

I was on my way home from the OBs office after getting an ultra sound to check status on baby. I was turning left into my moms neighborhood and the light turned red and a guy hit my truck. Huge wave of anxiety. I  was scared for my baby, for my health and for my truck. The guy who hit me was really angry and started yelling at me that I swerved into him or something. Anyway no one got a ticket because neither of us could prove at fault. The cop had the fire department come check me out because I am almost 31 weeks along. I had good blood pressure but just an elevated pulse. He told me to go get checked by my dr which my dr told me to go to triage at the hospital if I got cramping or bleeding or didnt feel the baby moving anymore. I made sure I paid special attention to the movement and everything else with the baby. I think the little jolt woke her up. I was only going about 5 mph but ever since then she has been swimming and having a heyday inside. Im almost positive I saw a foot pushing this morning. When I had my ultrasound I found out the baby is down like ready to come out but she is transverse which means facing sideways...hmmm when have I heard that before? Good thing I am having a c-section.

what a day!

Yesterday i went to my dr to get an ultrasound to see how the baby is progressing. They thought at my last check up she was measuring a little small and wanted everything to be checked out just to make sure. Although I did wait in the office longer than I wanted to because the tech was way behind and it just kept making me more nervous the ultra sound was fine. She is measuring on the 44% for her gestation age right on target and her head is a week ahead of the rest which means she will have a nice cute big head like aspen and dad. Im excited to see who see looks like because her ultrasound didnt really look like Aspen and I was for sure they would be looking alot alike. Right now she is measuring 3lbs 7 ounces.

almost 31 weeks

Im getting anxious! I feel so unprepared. I need to get more baby swaddling blankets. I need my house organized. I need to buy more groceries. i need more movies for Aspen to watch and toys to play with all day.
I had a check up two days ago. The NP told me I am measuring small so in about an hour Ill be getting an ultra sound to check everything out. Im a little nervous because I want everything to go perfect. I also have an undying fear that Im going to deliver early and my girls will be freakishly close in age. I had some really bad lower back cramping this morning so I did the dishes incase someone had to come over and take care of me or something. Like I said I really need to get my house organized. It just hurts so bad to bend over! We just moved last month into a new place so its kind of working its self out when we need things but the money is always short flowing and Colby works so hard. I love him.
